General description
The public address, alarm and broadcast system is designed for installation in different military ships. Its modular construction allows various configurations which depend on requirements of the ship.
In a standard configuration the system provides:
- Isolated circuits 1MC, 5 MC, 6 MC
- Various lines for 1 MC: officers, crew, machine etc.
- Alarm generation: general, CBRN, flight crash, dive etc.
- 2 entertainment channels
- Connection with PBX
- Recording lines for circuits
- Mute relay boxes
- Broadcast delay system for orders given by PBX
- Power amplifier modules of 250W each
- Racks with EMC and shock certifications
- Independent subsystem of intercommunication for 75MC
The different kinds of peripheral equipment which complete the system are:
- Below deck with entertainment channels loudspeaker (CIC-444/R)
- Below deck loudspeaker (CIC-305)
- Marine loudspeaker above deck (CIC-387/R)
- Microphone control station up to 8 lines (CIC-MSB-2/4,6,8)
- Microphone connection boxes (CIC-MSB-2)
- Loudhailer system for communication between the ships (CIC-397)

In case of configurations that for its main equipment no shock and EMC certifications are required, CIC has higher density configurations and also digital systems based on Ethernet
networks.
