General description
Designed in accordance with specification MIL- A-20222 (R17A11) and for use with portable microphones, the Connection box model CIC-MJB-2 is made entirely of lightweight alloy. Model MJB-2 includes a pilot light for indicating ‘access denied’, ‘circuit in use’ or ‘occupied’ or a PTT indication, depending on how the control equipment has been configured.
The microphone’s input connector has a sealed protective cap with a quarter-turn connection, fastened to the box with a chain or an optional stainless steel cable covered in black vinyl as specified in norm MS-17339.
The wiring coming in from the exterior goes through a cable seal located on the bottom side of the box.
Screws and bolts are stainless steel, as stipulated in R17A11 SHIPS, D-4M.
The surfaces of all mechanical parts have been given a high-protection treatment in accordance with norm MIL-C-5541. Connection box model CIC-MJB-2 has withstood the grade-A shock test.
